College Credit Plus - Admissions

It’s Not Too Early To Start College!

Many high school students are already earning college credit through Ohio’s College Credit Plus program - and lots of them are doing it through Urbana University. We currently enroll more than 1,000 high school students who take our courses on campus, on-site at our partner high schools, and online through Franklin University.

The Franklin University/Urbana CCP option enables students, like you, the opportunity to save time and money by earning free college credits. In addition to using those credits to satisfy your high school graduation requirements, you can also transfer them toward a bachelor’s or an associate degree at Franklin University or Urbana.

More Options. Endless Possibilities.

Guided by Franklin University’s mission to provide educational opportunities for learners everywhere, the university, a leading educator of working adults since 1902, acquired Urbana University in 2014. With the approval of the Higher Learning Commission, Urbana was transitioned to a Franklin University branch campus in 2017. The integration of Urbana into Franklin means more career-focused academic options for CCP students - from what you can study, to how and where you study. At Franklin University and our Urbana University Branch Campus, the choices are yours.
