Urbana University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach a course in Human Resource Management in a face-to-face format beginning Spring Term starting on January 9, 2018. This 3 credit hour, 16 week class will be taught on Mondays from 8:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at the London Correctional Institute.  

This course includes an introductory review of the major functions of human resources including job design and evaluation, recruiting and retention, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, training and career development. 

Requirements for this position include at least a Master’s degree in Human Resources or a closely related field.  A PhD candidate is strongly preferred.  The successful candidate must have at least 18 graduate credit hours of Human Resources and/or 5 years of experience in the Human Resources field.  Prior teaching experience is required. In order to be considered for this position, you must have daytime availability.
