Student Center Assistant

Position Summary:

  • Provide assistance in the Student Center. To provide assistance in the event of having an Intramural activity, or event or program hosted by the Student Affairs department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and answer visitor, student, staff and faculty questions and redirect to appropriate person or department
  • Manage use of Student Center equipment
  • Assist with the distribution of all US mail, which comes into the student center, including incoming and outgoing mail and sorting.
  • Ensure that the student center is a friendly environment, clean and neat
  • Assist the IM Manager with events, scoring, and set-up and clean up.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent attitude and willingness to learn
  • Requires Federal Work Study award

Additional Notes:

  • Hours vary and coincide with Student Center hours of operation. Weekend hours as needed
  • Pre-employment check required
