Build on your bachelor’s degree and finish the coursework and requirements for an Ohio teaching license.
If you want a rewarding career as a teacher, then the Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Licensure Program at Urbana University is right for you.
Fulfill the requirements to apply for an Ohio Resident Educator Initial License by taking classes one night a week at our Urbana campus, or at our locations in Beavercreek or Dublin, and completing one semester of student teaching. As one of few Post-Bacc Teacher Licensure programs designed for working professionals, some courses are also available in an online or blended format.
Complete courses based on your previous coursework and your teaching goals. Some content area and teaching pedagogy courses can be completed online or in a blended format. Courses are offered in 8-week terms during the fall, spring and summer semesters. Although completion times may vary depending on the type of licensure you choose, some programs can be completed in less than 2 years.
