International Graduate Requirements

For international students seeking a master’s degree or graduate certificate

Each graduate applicant is evaluated based upon program admission factors. These factors include but are not limited to the undergraduate education experience, which should demonstrate strong academic performance, letters of recommendation, and previous work and learning experiences. These factors help to identify those students who possess the ability and motivation to benefit from their enrollment in Urbana University's graduate programs.

International Graduate Admission Requirements/Materials:

  • Completed international application
  • Minimum TOEFL score of 79, or minimum IELTS score of 6.0
  • Official college transcripts from any institution where postsecondary coursework was completed (translated into English)
  • Copy of college or university diploma
  • Bank statement demonstrating available funds equal to one (1) year of tuition, room and board, fees, and personal expenses (in U.S. dollars)
  • Immunization records, in English, to include at least one DPT (diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus) and at least two MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
  • Copy of current passport
  • Personal statement
  • Two letters of recommendation from professors and/or employers
