Urbana University, a division of Franklin University, is currently seeking an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor. This individual will assist the Director of Admissions in achieving the overall mission of recruiting, admitting, and enrolling undergraduate students and student athletes. The Admissions Counselor is responsible for informing prospective students and their families about the different programs of study available, student life, and admission policies and procedures at Urbana University. At the direction of the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Counselor plans, coordinates, implements and manages short and long term strategies to identify and cultivate prospective students in order to generate high quality applicants and achieve high yield rates in assigned territories.The Admissions Counselor represents Urbana at on and off campus recruiting events and public service programs. 

We seek someone with a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience in admissions or an admissions support role. This position requires significant out-of-area recruitment travel during fall recruitment season as well as weekend registration travels during spring recruitment season. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, present self in a professional manner and reflect the goals and standards of Urbana University. This individual must have excellent communication skills, strong computer skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
