Urbana University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach a Journalism course in a face-to-face format beginning on August 21st. Classes will be taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The courses being offered are Journalism and Media Writing .

Requirements for this position include a passion for teaching face-to-face and a commitment to lifelong learning.  Must have at least a Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Composition, or a related field and experience in news writing, PR writing, and general composition.  A Master’s degree in composition or journalism with experience in PR writing for news/social media is preferred.  The successful candidate must have at least 18 graduate credit hours within these disciplines.  PhD candidates are strongly preferred. Prior teaching experience is required. In order to be considered for this position, you must have daytime availability.
