Urbana University, a branch campus of Franklin University, has a full-time opening for a Coordinator of Career Connections.  The Coordinator of Career Connections will collaborate across campus and throughout the region to engage students and organizations in experiential learning opportunities.  These opportunities may include a speaker’s series, site visits, job shadowing, or full semester to multi-semester internships.  In addition, this role will be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive program to connect students to professional career development and career opportunities.

Requirements for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in the area of human resources administration, business administration, higher education, adult learning, or a closely related field.  Experience in career development, career coaching, coordinating internships or job shadowing is preferred.  Candidate must possess strong relationship building skills and demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, goal driven, and collaborative team environment.  Understanding of international student visa and work requirements is preferred.  This position will require a flexible schedule to cover the priorities of the department.  Occasional evening work hours and some travel should be expected.
