Adjunct Faculty - English

Urbana University is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach English courses in a face-to-face format beginning August 19, 2019. The course sections are 16 weeks in length and will be offered during the day M-F.  The day and time of the course offering varies by term. 

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Rhetoric and Composition, Technical Writing, Communications, or a Master’s degree in related field or a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in composition pedagogy, rhetorical theory and practice, or English language literacy.  Prior teaching experience is preferred.  In order to be considered for these positions, you must have daytime availability.
