Adjunct Faculty - Criminal Justice

Urbana University is seeking adjunct faculty members to support the Criminal Justice Program.  Classes will be taught Monday – Friday during the day in a face to face format.  We are looking for adjuncts who have availability to begin teaching during the current term which runs through May 4, 2019.  There may be opportunities for future sections as well.  Please see the course offerings and requirements below.

CJAD 310 Courts and Criminal Procedure MWF 9:00AM-10:15AM

CJAD 240 Introduction to Criminology MWF 11:00AM-12:15PM

CJAD 320 Corrections in America TR 9:30AM-11:15AM

CJAD 440 Sociology of Deviant Behavior TR 1:00PM – 2:45PM

Requirements for these positions include a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related graduate degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in criminal justice.  Three (3) years of relevant practical experience required.  PhD candidates are strongly preferred.  Prior teaching experience is preferred.  In order to be considered for these positions, you must have daytime availability.
