Urbana University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Art 105 - Basic Design in a face-to-face format beginning August 19, 2019.  Art 105 is held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00-12:15. The term runs through December 6.

Position Requirements: Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Art, Studio Art, Art Education, or Art History or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in art, studio art, art education or art history. Will also accept a Master’s or terminal degree in a related field (e.g. education, cultural studies, etc.) and three years teaching art or studio art at an accredited college or university; five or more years professional experience as a working artist and art instructor.


Course Summary:

Art 105 - Basic Design - A basic course in the principles and elements of design as applied to two- and three-dimensional surfaces, including line, mass, space, texture, value, and color.
