2007 Three Arches Awards Presented

The Urbana University Alumni Association presented Three Arches Awards to a graduate student and two undergraduate students.

The Three Arches Master of Education Student Award was presented to Denise Roth of Covington. She is pursuing a Master of Education in Classroom Teaching from Urbana University. The award winner completed a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Urbana in 2002.

The Alumni Association also presented awards to two graduating seniors from Urbana.

Ashley Kirby of Arcanum is the recipient of a Three Arches Senior Award. She is one of three valedictorians in the Class of 2007. Miss Kirby has completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting and minoring in Management. She has also been active in the University community through membership in various organizations and as editor of Knights Write, the student literature journal.

Another Three Arches Senior Award went to Jessica Conrad of Springfield. The Dean’s List student has graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She performed student teaching at Graham South Elementary School.
