Submission Instructions

Submissions can be essays, short stories, and/or poetry. Artwork may accompany the submission. Please follow the guidelines listed below:

• All submissions must be typed, double-spaced, stapled, and as error free as possible.
  
• Two copies should be submitted.
  
• There should be no identifying marks on the paper, such as name, grade received, or comments.
  
• Each paper should have a title.
  
• Please attach a cover sheet on each copy of the submission and include the following:
  
  • Title of the submission (matches the title on the body of the paper)
  • Writer's name
  • Writer's phone number and e-mail address
  • Class for which the paper was written (if applies)
  • Instructor's name (if applies)
  • Date of submission
  • Signed permission slip for publication and editing
    
• If your paper is selected for publication, please be prepared to forward an electronic copy of the paper.

If you are on campus, you may also drop off your submission in Dr. Stolz's mailbox at Oak Hall in the Humanities Office.

• If selected for publication, your real name will be used. Additional information may be requested. Failure to comply will prohibit the work from being published.
  
• Published works do not necessarily represent the opinions of Knights Write or Urbana University.
