Urbana University is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach. This is a full time twelve month position. Duties include dynamic leadership in all phases of administration of an NCAA Division II basketball program, including a commitment to recruiting quality student-athletes, player evaluation, practice planning and implementation, leadership of assistant coach (es), off-season conditioning and fund-raising. A high level of commitment to the academic mission of the athletics department is required.
A Bachelor’s degree and previous collegiate playing and coaching experience is required. All Urbana University Athletic programs and staff must function within the rules and regulations as established by the NCAA and the Mountain East Conference.
Immediate openings. Valid driver’s license and background check required. Qualify for 3 hours of tuition remission per semester by working just 16 hours per pay period. Apply in person at the Campus Safety Office located in Blackmer #5 M-F from 8 am – 3 pm.
