UU Welcomes Community to Sixth Annual Christmas on Campus

URBANA, Ohio (November 19, 2012) - On Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 5 – 8 p.m., the community is welcome to the Urbana University campus for the annual Blue and White Christmas on Campus. Activities for all ages will be held in or near the Student Center. Refreshments will be located throughout the Student Center. The White Family Grill will offer a Dollar Menu of hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken nuggets, and drinks. Make this annual event a part of your family’s holiday tradition.

Schedule of Activities

5 - 8:00 Santa’s Workshop sponsored by the Student Education Association, Sara Landess Room, lots of fun activities for children to enjoy while waiting to see Santa

5 - 8:00 Horse Drawn Carriage, Trolley, and Sleigh Rides to the Swedenborg Memorial Library and back to the Student Center

5 - 8:00 Ice Skating for all ages. Student Center, lower level, back patio Skates are provided in child and adult sizes. Sponsored by SAC, Student Activities Committee.

5 - 8:00 In Company with Angels: Seven Rediscovered Tiffany Windows, Swedenborg Memorial Library

5 - 8:00 Musical Entertainment, Student Center Multi-Purpose Room

      4:45 -5:30 – University Royal Blues Jazz Band (Student Center Lobby)

      5:15 - Creative Childcare Center Choir

      5:45 - Urbana Elementary Show Choir & Chimes 

      6:30 - Champaign County Youth Choir

      7:00 - Urbana High School Show Choir

5:30 - 8:00 Santa arrives at the Student Center. Children of all ages may have their photo taken with Santa.

6:00 & 7:30 “Entertaining” Angels Theatre Performance, The Hub A selection of plays with the central theme of angels performed by Urbana University students.
