SATA Hosts Pancake Breakfast & Easter Egg Hunt
URBANA, Ohio (March 20, 2012) - In recognition of National Athletic Training month, the Urbana University Student Athletic Training Association (SATA) is hosting a Pancake Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the lower level of the UU Student Center. The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the center of the campus quad. In case of inclement weather, the Easter Egg Hunt will move to the Student Center.
The meal consists of three pancakes, two sausage links and coffee or juice for $5.00 per meal. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the SATA.
The SATA provides opportunities for the Urbana University students majoring in athletic training to be involved with all aspects of student government at the state and national levels for Athletic Training. Each Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) student member of SATA attends the Ohio Student Athletic Trainer symposium and competes in the state Quiz Bowl against other universities such as Ohio State, Toledo, Wright State, etc. In addition, each senior level ATEP student has the opportunity to attend the National Athletic Training convention and hear lectures by athletic training professionals from across the country. The students also have the chance to apply and interview for jobs at the national level. Your support of this fundraiser will help offset the expenses for the students.
