New Curriculum Plan Cuts Costs and Saves Time for Students
Urbana University announced a new three-year curriculum that will cut students’ college expenses by at least 25% and help students start their careers a year early.
Several academic programs, including two of the University’s most popular programs—communications and criminal justice—can now be completed in just three years. In addition, students who have already earned college credit in high school through dual enrollment or Post Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) may be able to graduate in less than three years.
According to Dave Orsmbee, vice president for enrollment at Urbana, enrollment for the 2014-2015 school year is still open and there’s time for students to qualify for grants and scholarships. “This year, the average financial aid award was over $24,000. Thanks to our competitive financial aid packages, Urbana is considered one of Ohio’s most affordable private colleges,” Ormsbee said.
