Andia Shisler Memorial Benefit Enters Third Year

Urbana students, alumni, and friends have the opportunity to join other fans to honor the life of one of our very own as the F.A.S.T. Complex on South Dixie Hwy in Lima, OH hosts a memorial celebration for Andia Shisler.

The third annual Andia Shisler Memorial Fund Benefit is on August 18, 2012.

The event features a poker run, Roadhouse Dinner, and live music. The poker run registration begins at noon and doors to the dinner open at 5:00 p.m.

Guests will enjoy playing corn hole and basketball, dancing to live music, and enjoying the fellowship with other Shisler friends and family.

"Andia Shisler was a wonderful gift to the Urbana campus and community. This is a great opportunity for her fans to gather and celebrate her life," said Nick Roberts, head men’s soccer coach at Urbana University.

Shisler passed away on September 25, 2009 in Urbana.  She graduated from Shawnee High School in the spring of 2009 and, attended Urbana University majoring in education and played for the Blue Knight’s women's soccer team.  This coming fall would have marked her senior year of college.
