Titus’ Serving as Guest Speakers at Chamber Dinner

The Champaign County Chamber is hosting its Annual Dinner, Expo & Auction on April 27, where guest speakers John ‘77 and Bev ’90 Titus will speak about their advocacy for peace and justice. 

Bev Titus states, “We feel honored and blessed to be a part of such a wonderful event and to be able to share our story and our passion for creating a culture of peace within our UU Community and throughout the world.”  Locally, John and Bev present at public forums, engage students in the classrooms for dialogue about peace-building and creating a culture of peace, started a Student Peace Alliance and host an annual 5K Run for Peace.

The dinner is at 6:30 p.m. with a social hour and cocktails starting at 5:00 p.m.  Live auction begins at 8 p.m. The event takes place at the Warren G. Grimes Center on campus.   Tickets are still available through the Champaign County Chamber.  For additional information about the event, please contact the chamber office at 937-653-5764.
