Guests Discuss the Lasting Influence of Urbana

How has Urbana impacted you?  You are invited to share and attend a panel presentation to discuss the “Lasting Influence of the Urbana Experience” from 5 p.m.-6 p.m. on June 26 in Moore 105 in the Student Center, during the 2013 Swedenborg Convention.

Panelists include former faculty member Dr. Vivian Blevins, who worked at Urbana from 1965-78 and then went on to be CEO of colleges in KY , TX and CA;  Cinda Anderton Blackburn ‘73, retired teacher from Worthington City Schools; James Copes ‘76, retired teacher from Tecumseh High School and professional photographer; Dr. Marvenia Bosley ‘74, retired superintendent from Columbus City Schools; Kevin Baxter ‘00, pastor of the Cambridge Society of the New Jerusalem, Swedenborg Chaplain at Harvard University;  and Ron Mescher ‘72, former Urbana athlete, businessman, and member of Versailles Area Chamber of Commerce.

Terry Pellman ’72 will also available with his latest books; there will be opportunities to purchase and receive a signed book.

Participants are invited to bring musical instruments, art, old yearbooks, and other items to share for this dialogue-based presentation.  All are welcome.
