A few years back the Johnny Appleseed Society was given wood from an apple tree Johnny Appleseed had planted in Apple Creek (Wayne County), Ohio. Johnny had nurseries there and the local historians verified the tree as one Johnny planted. The wood was stored and kept away from the elements. The Johnny Appleseed Society has made gavels out of the wood. This is a limited edition offer and there will be approximately 50 gavels made from this wood. The Johnny Appleseed Gavels are $100.00 each.
