Urbana University offers a variety of housing options for students living on campus. Each has it's own benefits. Every room on campus is equipped with the following: bed, mattress, window blinds, desk, chair, drawer space and closet space or a wardrobe per resident.

Traditional Housing Options
Hazard and Sycamore Halls
- Semi-private rooms (all first-time freshmen will share a room with another roommate)
- Community bath facilities
- Hazard & Sycamore Halls both feature comfortable living arrangements and air-conditioning

McConnell Hall
- Urbana University's newest residence hall
- Co-ed bulding, single sex per pod

South Hall
- Semi-private rooms (all first-time freshmen will share a room with another roommate)

- South Hall is not air conditioned; Students should bring window fans - window or in-room A/C units are NOT permitted.
- All halls are single-sex halls
- South Hall are adjacent to the Dining Commons
- South Hall Dimensions:
- Floor: 9'7" x 13'7"
- Window: 3'5" x 4'1"
Suite Style Living
Hickory & Ross Halls
- Three bedrooms, two baths, and shared living area per suite
- Two residents per bedroom
- All suites are single-sex suites
- All suites are air-conditioned
- Approximate Room Dimensions:
- Living Room: 13'5" x 15' Window: 5' x 3'
- Bedroom A: 11' x 12'6" Window: 4' x 3'
- Bedroom B: 11'8" x 12'8" Window: 5' x 3'
- Bedroom C: 12' x 12'8" Window: 4' x 3'
Amenities
- Cable: Cable is available in each room of the residence halls. Basic cable service is available through the university. Students with a cable ready TV or converter box will be able to access the regular service channels offered. At this time, premium channels are not available to residence hall rooms or suites.
- Coin Machines Hazard, McConnell, Sycamore Halls
- Computer Labs: Hazard Lounge, and Sycamore Lounge
- Laundry Facilities Hazard, McConnell, and Sycamore Halls, basement of Ross and Hickory Halls
- Network Access Network access is available from every room on campus.
- Phones: Phone service to each room is provided on request by Urbana University. Phones for Urbana University's system are provided by the Information Technology by requesting one; e-mail or call IT for your request (help@urbana.edu or 937-484-1332) in each residence hall and suite room. Phones from home will not work as this is a Voice over IP (VOIP) system.
