Dining & Residence Life

We design living on campus at Urbana University to serve students by providing a safe living environment with resources to encourage success in and out of the classroom.

Our residence halls emphasize civic responsibility, mutual respect, mature interpersonal relationships, multicultural understanding, and community engagement. Students living on campus forge friendships that last a lifetime while learning about different cultures, backgrounds and ideas, gaining an understanding of being part of a community, and developing their leadership skills. Residential living provides students with life skills which are transferable to careers and other aspects of independent living after graduation. Advice and guidance are available from trained upperclass student resident assistants. Resident assistants live on each floor of each residence hall and serve as a resource for students dealing with any type of issue.

Sodexo Dining Services of Urbana University works hard to design a meal program guaranteed to meet your individual needs. You've got plenty on your mind: classes, sports, clubs, community service, so we've made it our goal to assure that you won't have to worry about finding something great to eat when you want it. Check out the many exciting opportunities you have to use your meal plan, then let us know what we can do to make it even better by joining the Food Service Board of Directors! We want Urbana University to have the best college dining service there is, and with your help we can do it!
