McCullough Scores Twice in Blue Knight Win
Urbana knocks off Daemen, 3-1, improves to 8-1
URBANA, Ohio (Sept. 15, 2007) – The Blue Knights scored three unanswered goals to put away Daemen, 3-1 Saturday at Ellis Field. With the win Urbana improves to 8-1 overall and 5-0 at Ellis Field.

Senior Darby McCullough sped past the Wildcat defense on both her goals (four and five on the season) on assists from sophomore Brittany Sword. She tied the game up in the 18th minute and scored the go ahead goal minutes before the first half expired. Senior Julie Glaser scored her third goal this year to give the Blue Knights some cushion.

Melanie Johansing had four saves in goal for Urbana, who opens AMC play a week from today at Mount Vernon at 3 p.m. on Sept. 22.
