Boy Scores Hat Trick in Blue Knight Win

URBANA, Ohio (Sept. 13, 2005) – Junior Jessica Boy scored three goals as the Blue Knight women’s soccer team defeated Bluffton College, 8-0, Tuesday night.
Freshman Carly Ramsdell started the scoring early, drilling her first collegiate goal on a square pass from sophomore Darby McCullough, in the fifth minute. McCullough found the back of the net midway through the first half on an indirect kick from junior Marge Warnement. Boy made it 3-0 on an assist from junior Sarah Shope with 15:30 left to play in the half. McCullough hit her second goal just two minutes into the second half. Freshman Alysha Spence set up that goal. Boy scored her second goal with 38:38 left in the game. A minute later she assisted on a goal by freshman Abigail Nelson. Nelson returned the favor, crossing the ball over the six. Boy headed the ball to the back of the net. Freshman Jessica Ellis scored the final goal on an assist from sophomore Kristen Auel. The Blue Knights improve to 5-3 overall. Bluffton drops to 1-2 overall. Urbana plays at Roberts Wesleyan, NY Friday, Sept. 16 at 3 p.m.
