Blue Knights Take Two to Finish Season
Urbana, Oh (Nov. 2, 2007)—The Urbana University volleyball team added two wins to finish out their 2007 season as they defeated conference opponent Ohio Dominican University before defeating non-conference Central State University. Urbana took down the Panthers in four games, 30-22, 25-30, 30-26, 36-34, and then finished with a three-game win over the Marauders, 30-9, 30-14, 30-17.

The Blue Knights were led against ODU by Kelly Boyer with 22 kills. Boyer added 8 blocks. Heather Powers and Lisa Schulte finished with 20 and 19 kills, respectively. Schulte also led on defense with 32 digs. Audree Castle dished out 70 assists to pace the offense. Castle also added a career-high seven kills while tacking on 20 digs. Jacie Peters added 12 kills. Maria Wuebker dug up 22 balls. Danielle Miller and Julia Harvat had 15 and 12 digs, respectively.

In match two against Central State, Bethany Artz led the offense with 14 assists while Chazity Bush put down seven kills.

Urbana will finishes the season at 17-17 and 5-8 in the American Mideast Conference. They will lose one senior, Schulte, to graduation.
