Blue Knights Top Panthers In Five Game Thriller
COLUMBUS, Oh (9-27-07)—The Urbana University volleyball team pulled out a thrilling five-game upset over the Ohio Dominican Panthers even after dropping the first two games of the match. After falling in the first two games 27-30, 22-30, the Blue Knights rallied to wins of 30-27, 30-20, and 15-9.

Urbana was led again on offense by sophomore Heather Powers with 25 kills, six digs, and three blocks. Freshman setter Audree Castle dished out 59 assists and 12 digs. Junior libero Maria Wuebker dug up 32 balls and served up six aces. Senior Lisa Schulte had 14 digs and 14 kills. Sophomore defensive specialist Danielle Miller had 16 digs. Junior Kelly Boyer put down 17 kills while sophomore Jacie Peters added 13.

The Blue Knights improved to 7-10 overall and 2-3 in the American Mideast Conference. They will travel to Marietta College on Saturday the 29th to compete in a non-conference tri-match with Marietta and Shawnee State University beginning at 1 p.m.
