The Recruiting Process
Our focus is on finding quality student-athletes that fit into Urbana University. The team is selected through the recruiting process, and while you are welcome to walk-on, you will find your chances better if you understand and go through the recruiting process. If you are interested in Urbana University and the Men’s Soccer Program we suggest the following:
- Contact us; fill out our Recruit Questionnaire so we have your information. Send us your High School and Club information including schedules; and feel free to contact Head Coach Nick Roberts via email at nroberts@urbana.edu.
- Setup a campus visit with your parents. You can schedule a visit through our Admissions office at 937.484.1356.
3. Send us a game and/or highlight tape of you playing. Unfortunately, we are unable to get out and watch every interested student-athlete. Watching you on film allows us at least something to go on, which may be helpful in evaluating your ability to play here or receive an athletic scholarship. Mail to:

4. If possible, plan to see us play. Having that opportunity will give you first hands look at our level of play, style of play, and the environment we play in.
5. In order to play sports at the NCAA Division II level, you must register with the NCAA Clearinghouse at: https://www.ncaaclearinghouse.net/NCAA/common/index.html
