Urbana Suffers Setback at Undefeated CSU
WILBERFORCE, Ohio (December 8, 2007) – The Blue Knight men’s basketball team dug a 22-point deficit in the first half against 9-0 Central State University and could not recover, falling 93-60 in non-conference action Saturday night.

Urbana sank just four field goals in the first period, shooting 4-of-32, for 12.5 percent, while the Marauders shot a blazing 50 percent from the field (16-of-32). The Blue Knights led 5-4 with 15:51 to play, but then it was all CSU, which held a 42-20 lead at the half. Central State dominated the boards, out rebounding Urbana, 55-33.

Senior Jo-Jo Peterson paced Urbana with 12 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Freshman Robert Jackson scored a career-high 11 points and brought down six caroms. The Blue Knights (1-8) play at Mercyhurst this Wednesday, December 12 at 8 p.m.
