Vanover Places 5th at Kisor Classic
COLUMBUS (Oct. 6, 2007) – Senior Kyle Vanover shot a 77-74-151 at the two-day Ohio Dominican University Classic to take fifth place. The Blue Knights finished in fourth with a team score of 655. Chad Garberich shot a 74-78-152 to finish one stroke behind the all-tournament team. Seth Reynolds shot an 85-82-167; Brian Effingham carded an 87-90-177; and Andy Heskett shot an 85-93-178.

Vanover Places in Top 10 at USF Invite

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Sept. 18, 2007) – Blue Knight senior Kyle Vanover took ninth place with a two-day score of 153 at the St. Francis Invitational held at Cobblestone and Noble Hawk Golf Clubs Monday and Tuesday. Vanover shot a 79 on the first day and bounced back with a 74 on the final day of competition. [more] [Complete Results]

Blue Knights Place Third at Urbana Invite
Vanover and Heskett tie for seventh
CABLE, Ohio (Sept. 14, 2007) – The Blue Knight men’s golf team placed third at the Urbana University Fall Invitational held at Woodland Golf Club. Urbana posted a team score of 462, just six strokes off of second-place Cedarville University which had 456. Owens Community College won the event with a team score of 446 and took the top two spots of the tournament with Jason Smith and Jimmy Bell both shooting a 110. Urbana was led by Kyle Vanover and Andy Heskett who tied for seventh after carding 114s. Seth Reynolds posted a 117 for the Blue Knights, Chad Garberich had a 121 and Brian Effingham carded a 122 to round out Urbana’s top five. The Blue Knights play in the St. Francis, Ind. Invitational. URBANA, Ohio (August 10, 2007) – Chad Garberich, a native of Crestline, Ohio and a transfer from Faulkner State, signed a letter of intent today, committing to Urbana University to play golf.

Blue Knight Golf Scramble a Driving Success
URBANA , Ohio (July 20, 2007) – The Urbana University’s annual golf scramble to benefit the women’s and men’s golf team took place at Woodland Golf Club in Cable, Ohio. The format was a four-person, best-ball scramble, with the funds being raised contributing to both the women’s and men’s golf team, and a portion going to the general athletic fund for Urbana University’s Department of Athletics. Urbana Comes in Ninth at AMC/Region IX Tournament
Pramuk Named All-American Mideast Conference
URBANA, Oh (May 7, 2007)-- The Urbana University men's golf team finished up their season at the AMC/Region IX golf tournament as they shot a 947 over the 54-hole tournament held at Apple Valley Golf Course on May 3 and 4. Sean Pramuk led the Knights shooting a 225 which was good enough to place him on the All-Conference team.

Pramuk Takes Medalist Honors
URBANA, Oh (April 23, 2007)-- Sean Pramuk shot the best score of all players as he took home medalist honors from the Cedarville Spring Invitational held on day one at Beavercreek Golf Club and on day two at the Country Club of the North. Pramuk shot the lowest score of all players on day one with a 70, which puts him in a tie for second place on the UU record list. On day two, he shot a 76 which was still good enough to secure him the medalist award. Josh Shilt improved his score by six strokes the next day to help Urbana move into seventh in the standings.

Urbana Takes Title at Own Invite
URBANA, Oh (April 18, 2007)-- The Urbana University men's golf team took first place as they shot a 338 lead by Kyle Vanover who was named tournament medalist. Sean Pramuk and Josh Shilt were also named to the All-Tournament squad that included Cedarville's Adam Schlappi and Shawnee State's Drew Prater and Jeff Evans.

Pramuk finishes Fifth Overall

URBANA, Oh (April 16, 2007)-- The Urbana University men's golf team placed tenth in the Mount Vernon Nazarene University Cougar Classic shooting a 658 over the two days at Apple Valley Golf Course. Urbana was led by Sean Pramuk who shot a 75 and 76 which was good enough to finish fifth and take a spot on the All-Tournament squad. The Blue Knights are hosting their spring invite today and tomorrow.

Urbana Finishes Fifth In Walsh Invitational
URBANA, Oh (April 11, 2007)-- Since play was rained out on the first day, the Walsh University Invitational at the Raintree Country club was a one-day tournament where Urbana placed fifth after shooting a 338. Urbana was led by Sean Pramuk with a 77.

Blue Knight Spring Invite Rescheduled
URBANA, Oh (April 4, 2007)-- Because of the weather expected in the area, the Blue Knight Gold Spring Invite scheduled for this weekend at Indian Springs and Woodland Golf club has been rescheduled for Monday April 16 and Tuesday April 17.

Knights Places Fifth At Shawnee State Spring Invite
URBANA, OH (March 28, 2007)-- The Urbana University Men's golf team placed fifth in the Shawnee State Invitational at the Elks Country Club in Portsmouth, Ohio. On the first day, Sean Pramuk and Alex Garman led the Knights with a 79. On day two, Pramuk had the best score of the team with a 71. Pramuk also led all Knights with an overall 150 which was 7th overall in individual standings. The team shot a 320 on day one and a 308 on day two to finish fifth with a 628.

Urbana Takes Fourth at Owens Fall Invite
TOLEDO, Ohio (Oct. 13, 2006)-- The Blue Knight Men's golf team placed fourth in the Owens Fall Invitational held at Belmont Country Club shooting a team score of 340. Bowling Green State University won the team tournament with a score of 320. Urbana was led by Andrew Belliveau with an 80, only three strokes off of first place. Kyle Vanover shot an 84 for Urbana while Sean Pramuk had an 87. Tom Gianeski scored an 89 with Seth Reynolds had a 99. The 72 par course saw scores that were higher than normal with conditions of wind and chilly temperatures.

Blue Knights Win Tiger Invitational
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (Sept. 23, 2006) -- The Urbana University men's golf team placed first in the two day, 36 hole Wittenberg Tiger Invitational held at Reid Park. The Urbana men shot a 313 and a 309 placing them ahead of Cedarville by 10 strokes. Other teams involved in the invitational included Wittenberg, ODU, Owens, Columbus State and Ohio Northern. Sean Pramuk led Urbana scoring shooting a 157 while Kyle Vanover was close behind with a 158. Andrew Belliveau shot a 160 while Andy Heskett scored a 124.

Urbana Wins At Woodland Golf Club
URBANA, Ohio (Sept. 16, 2006) -- Urbana University Men’s Golf team finished in first place against 15 other teams in a tournament at Woodland G.C. on Sept 15. The Urbana University team shot 305 & 153 in the 27 hole tournament. Top combined day finishers included Perry Kauppinen with a 110. Kyle Vanover followed closely shooting a 114. Sean Pramuk scored a 118 with Andrew Belliveau one stroke off at 119. Andy Heskett rounds out Urbana shooting a 124.

Knights Place 9th at Tiffin
TIFFIN, Ohio (Sept. 10, 2006) – The Blue Knight men’s golf team placed ninth out of 14 teams at the Tiffin University Kyle Ryman Memorial. Urbana University shot a team score of 626. The Blue Knights shot a 322 on day one but rebounded with a 304, shaving 18 strokes off. Sean Pramuk and Kyle Vanover led Urbana with 154s. Pramuk shot a 76-78 and was second in the tournament with 25 pars. Vanover shot an 81-73. Perry Kauppinen, the Blue Knights’ only freshman, scored a 79-80-159. Andrew Belliveau was right with him, scoring an 86-74-160. Andy Heskett rounded out the Urbana scoring with an 88-79-167. Malone won the tournament with a team score of 291-286-577. Urbana will host its tournament this Friday, Sept. 15 at Woodlands Golf Club. Results
