Blue Knights Drop Second Game to Northwestern
CLEARWATER, FL (March 5, 2008)—The Urbana University baseball team battled back and forth with Northwestern before falling 5-7 in their fifth game of the Baseball Academy Invitational.
Brock Bender (0-1) took his first loss of the season for the Blue Knight pitching staff, allowing eight hits and five runs. Jordan Baker, Russ Chambers, and Mike Bezak all doubled for the Blue Knights. Baker went 1-3 with 2 RBIs while Michael Heck, Bezak and Kris Nealeigh all had one RBI.
The Blue Knights will play a single game tomorrow at 3 p.m. against Trinity International, a team the Blue Knights run-ruled in 5 innings at the beginning of the week.
