Blue Knights Win Opening Game in Florida
URBANA, Ohio (March 3, 2008)—The Urbana University baseball team picked up a solid win in their opening game of the Baseball Academy Invitational as they defeated Trinity International University in five innings, 13-1.

The Blue Knights saw pitcher Mike Blanton earn the win on the mound to move himself to 1-1 on the season while Russ Chambers went 1-2 at the plater with a home run.

In the first inning, TIU took a 1-0 lead but never crossed the plate again while Urbana loaded up the runs with three in the second. They exploded for eight in the third and added two more to seal the game in the fourth.  The Blue Knights collected 13 runs on nine hits and only committed one error.  TIU saw their only run on four hits while committing four errors.
