Application for Admission – Graduate Studies

Thank you for taking the next step to becoming a graduate student at Urbana University! 
Admission Requirements
As you begin the admission process, please note these general admission requirements. Specific programs may have additional requirements, available at the respective websites describing each program. To be admitted for graduate study at Urbana University you must:
1. Possess an earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally (or equivalent) accredited university.
2. Have earned a cumulative grade point average of 2.7 or better on a 4.0 scale (some programs may require a higher grade point average).
Admission Process
1. Complete and submit the online application for admission.
2. Submit the following documents to Graduate Admissions:
a. An official copy of your collegiate transcript from the institution where you earned your bachelor’s degree as well as an official transcript from any institution you attended for graduate level study. Please note that we cannot accept transcripts issued to you as a student.
b. Two letters of recommendation from professors and/or employers that reference your potential for success as a graduate student.
c. Your current resume or curriculum vitae showing your educational and professional background.
d. A statement of your career goals, indicating how your graduate degree will help you realize those goals.
e. Pay the graduate application fee of $25 by sending to Graduate Admissions a check payable to Urbana University.
