You haven’t explored Urbana University fully until you’ve visited our campus. There’s no substitute for experiencing our beautiful campus for yourself and personally meeting the people that make up our welcoming university community.
You’ll gain a firsthand understanding of the University’s spirit and traditions through conversations with professors, current students and representatives from our campus organizations.
Visiting campus is the best way to find out if Urbana University is the right university for you, so take advantage of the many types of visit opportunities available.
Information sessions include a presentation by one of our admissions representatives, during which you will learn more about our campus, as well as the admission and financial aid processes at Urbana University. The sessions also include a walking tour of campus with one of our student ambassadors, current students who are happy to answer any questions you may have about Urbana. Campus visits last between 1-2 hours.
Prospective Student Days
Prospective student days provide a holistic experience of all that Urbana University has to offer. You'll get more information about Urbana’s high-quality, career-oriented, academic programs, campus life and the many opportunities available to Urbana students. You'll interact with current students, have lunch with faculty in the dining commons and have the opportunity to attend (as available) a class, performance or athletic event.
Focus Visit Days
Looking for a more personalized experience? A wide variety of specially designed campus visit days are scheduled for the upcoming academic year. Focus campus visit opportunities include: Homeschool/FFA Student Visit Day, Blue Knight Experience Day, Transfer Student Visit Day, Honors Exploration Visit Day and Multicultural Student Visit Day. Destination UU Days, held during spring semester are exclusive events for accepted students.
Visiting groups with 20 students or more may request a dedicated information session and a campus tour that can be tailored to fit the interests of your group. We routinely customize visits for high schools, educational programs, community-based organizations or extracurricular groups working with high school students in the 10th, 11th or 12th grade.
