It’s All About U: Class of 2018

From all of us in the Office of Admissions, congratulations on being admitted to Urbana University!

We know you've worked tirelessly to get here and we are thrilled to welcome you to the Class of 2018.  You should be proud of the hard work and accomplishments that led to your admission.  Everyone at UU is anxiously awaiting your arrival this fall!

Getting involved enhances the college experience, and as a Blue Knight, you’ll have hundreds of opportunities available to you. From student organizations/clubs to recreational activities and community service, find the groups that are right for you!

We offer all the support systems you need to succeed - great library resources, mentoring opportunities, student success center, and advising to keep you on track.

At Urbana, you’re an individual, not a number. Unlike some institutions, Urbana’s classes are taught exclusively by faculty – not teaching assistants or graduate students. Urbana faculty maintains on open-door policy by being accessible to our students. From your first year experience to graduation, our faculty cares about the successful outcome of your college education.

NCAA division II athletics at UU are part of the Blue Knight experience. We fill the stands and join the band every chance we get. You will see faculty/staff in the stands, donning their best blue and white, while students cheer for their favorites. It’s what being a Blue Knight is all about. It’s about Urbana pride.

Once again, congratulations to the Class of 2018!  Welcome Weekend will be here soon.  Until then learn more about the City of Urbana, and more.  And reach out to your admissions counselor if you have any questions.  See U soon!
