In the event that you would like to withdraw from Urbana University, you must officially start and complete the withdrawal process. Students begin this process by first speaking with Ms. Susie Sassenberg in the Student Services Office. She can be contacted by phone at (937) 484-1459 or email at ssassenberg@urbana.edu. She will talk with you about how to proceed with the process or assist you with any problems that you may be having both personally and academically. After you have talked with Ms. Sassenberg, you will then need to visit the following offices:

  • Student Accounts Office (Oak Hall)
  • Student Financial Aid Office (Oak Hall)
  • Housing Coordinator (Hazard Hall)
  • Perkins Loan Coordinator (part of financial aid)
  • Registrar's Office (North Hall)

At each office you will have paperwork to complete in order to officially withdraw from the University. You will also receive information with regards to your account balance and the timeframe for which it will need to be paid, should there be a balance due. It is very important to consider your intentions of withdrawing from Urbana University during any semester. There could be serious financial implications for withdrawing before having earned all of your financial aid. Please review the refund policy for more information.

From Our Faculty

"Urbana University gives a professor freedom in wayst hat larger schools do not.  Here, I can create courses and work one-on-one with students because the classes are small."
