Marketing & Communications Team
The Marketing & Communications Team leads the efforts to maintain the institutional identity coordinating institutional messages to the community and region. These include printed and electronic communications for student recruiting, general information, and internal and external communications. Likewise, the Marketing & Communication Team maintains the campus calendar and coordination of the president's messages, directives and presentations
The Marketing & Communications Team provides marketing assistance and strategies to help the university strengthen enrollment, enhance the University's reputation with alumni and donors, and advance and support the university's strategic goals.
Through positive, accurate and timely media relations activities, the Marketing & Communications Team strives to increase the university's visibility and serve as liaison throughout the community, state, and region. The university relations office works closely with all offices throughout campus to disseminate information in a coordinated and consistent fashion, building positive awareness of Urbana University, and serves as a central point of contact for media pursuing coverage of the university.
The Marketing & Communications Team coordinates all print and electronic publications for student recruiting, fundraising, general information and internal and external communications.
In partnership with the Web Editorial Board, the Marketing & Communications Team oversees and maintains a variety of Urbana University websites for student service, faculty and staff communications, and public and alumni relations.
The Marketing & Communications Team is the lead external communicator, working in concert with the emergency response team, in the event of a crisis affecting Urbana University.
The Marketing & Communications Team works closely with the Blue Knights Athletics Office to promote Urbana University's student-athletes and athletic teams.
