Brief Description
The major in Psychology provides a fundamental and broad introduction to the discipline of psychology. The student will study psychological concepts, theories, research methods, and explore applications of contemporary psychology within a variety of career settings, and will develop knowledge and skills needed for a variety of positions within private or public sector occupations. The major in psychology is excellent preparation for Master’s and Ph.D. level study in psychology, social work, human ecology, and other disciplines.
