Brief Description
The MSN Program at Urbana University builds upon the goals and competencies of the BSN Program and focuses on an advanced level of nursing theory, practice, and research. The program is designed for Nurses who want to pursue more advanced positions in today's challenging health care environments. The program blends nursing theory and advanced practice concepts necessary to work within the structure, culture, and mission of a variety of health care organizations or educational settings. The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Program includes two areas of concentration: Nursing Administration and Nursing Education.
