Brief Description
The Criminal Justice major prepares students for entering a variety of professions in law enforcement or corrections, such as a state, municipal, or county law enforcement agency; a correctional institution; or the field of parole and probation supervision. Additionally, graduates could seek opportunities in state or federal investigative agencies or within the private sector in companies providing security or crime/loss prevention services. Others might choose instead to enter a graduate or professional school for additional preparation.
