Mission
To provide an interdisciplinary, liberal arts education that focuses on cultivating an appreciation for art, beauty, and truth and emphasizes critical reflection on morals and ethics, not only in reference to American culture but also the cultures of others.
Criteria
- ACT score of 24 or higher
- High school GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Letter of recommendation from your high school teachers, guidance counselor, and/or administrator
- Personal interview with Honors College Committee
- Essay, to be written at the time of the interview
- Involvement in school and community activities
Scholarships
All students admitted to the Honors College will receive a substantial honors scholarship, renewable for up to four years, as long as the student maintains a 3.0 GPA.
