Our flexible and convenient MBA-Healthcare can be completed online in as little as two years depending on applicable transfer credit and the number of courses taken at one time. Manage Your Career in Healthcare
The MBA-Healthcare equips healthcare professionals for leadership positions with a variety of agencies including hospitals, clinics, health centers, rehabilitation centers, physician’s practices, nursing homes, schools and insurance and pharmaceutical companies.
The program is designed for non-business majors. No pre-requisites, no entrance exams, and no workbooks to complete prior to entering the program. In just nine courses, students receive skills to become leaders in the healthcare field. All students start with MBA Essentials, which acts as a foundation to the rest of the program.
Courses may be taken in any order after that until the final course, Business Strategy of the Healthcare Industry. Each course focuses on the business needs of physicians and is worth four credits.

2. Apply for Financial Aid (optional)
- Fill out (or update) the FAFSA form: www.fafsa.ed.gov
- Include Urbana code 003133 on the application.
- Immediately apply for financial aid; DO NOT WAIT FOR A DECISION
3. Request official transcripts from only the school granting your bachelor's degree
- Official transcript from the school where you earned your bachelor's degree must be sent directly to Urbana.
Please note that transcripts from institutions outside of the United States will require a WES (World Education Services) credential evaluation prior to consideration.
