College of Professional & Applied Studies

The College of Professional & Applied Studies offers several degree programs through its three four diverse academic departments: Business, Criminal Justice, Nursing & Allied Health and Sports Studies.

The college's undergraduate programs are designed to prepare graduates for positions in a variety of career fields as well as to be excellent preparation for graduate study.

Master degree programs in business, criminal justice and nursing are also offered through the College of Professional & Applied Studies.

Educational Partnership

Urbana University and the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections have partnered since 1975 to provide career-oriented, college level programs at the London Correctional Institution. Teaching courses at London is central to Urbana University’s mission of offering a liberal arts education emphasizing student learning through individual attention, excellence in instruction, career-oriented programs, and critical reflection on moral and ethical values. 

Currently, the University offers a Business undergraduate certificate program at the London Correctional Institution. Please see the University Catalog for additional information about this program.
